Summer Outing

Each year we organise an exciting day out for the beneficiaries, which is a day that they would not normally be able to attend without the help and support of the charity. This year we went to Amerton Farm and Craft Centre and we then went to Shugborough Estate, the estate comprises an elegant mansion house set in 900 acres of stunning parkland with riverside gardens, working Victorian servants’ quarters, Georgian farm , dairy and miill and a restored walled garden. The attraction also features a land train ride to take you through the grounds, craft workshops and gift shops. Meet costumed maids, servants, ladies and lords, cooks, gardeners and farm workers all living and working there just as they did over 200 years ago.
